The two were usually inseparable at events, on social outings and even on the red carpet, but they haven’t been photographed together in quite some time. A couple of weeks ago, rumor had it that Taylor had warned Selena that she would walk out on her if she continued seeing Justin Bieber.
Insiders confirm for Radar that this is precisely what happened: angry that Selena would not understand that The Biebs is not a good person to have around, Taylor is no longer speaking to her, having shut her out of her life completely.
As one spy puts it, if you ask Taylor what she thinks of the number 1 male teen heartthrob of the moment, words like “loser” and “disgusting” might be used in the description.
“Taylor loves Selena and they get along super well, but it’s hard for her to watch her best friend keep going back to Justin when she knows it’s the worst thing for her. She feels like maybe Selena needs tough love. She thinks Justin is disgusting and has basically told Selena she can’t support their relationship and if she gets back with him their friendship will probably never be the same,” says a source.
Of course, Taylor is not the one to be dishing out love advice, especially considering her past. She has a reputation for falling in love very quickly, becoming too clingy, and then being dumped, though she’s repeatedly stressed that there isn’t much truth to tabloid reports about her love life.
“Taylor may not have the best reputation with her dating life but at least she doesn’t keep going back to the same loser over and over again like Selena does. Selena’s parents and friends can’t stand Justin, but for some reason she just doesn’t care. She’s blinded by him and not realizing what and who she’s losing,” the insider adds.
Selena and Justin have not been a couple officially in a very long time, in the sense that they haven’t shown up to support the other’s work or done red carpets together. Despite reports and clear indication that they’ve broken up a lot as of late, there are also photos available proving they’re still in contact.
They have led to increasing speculation that they’re still an item but keeping it from the media and the fans.
