It's been a while since Tara Reid's name came up in the headlines but, rest assured, there is a perfectly logical explanation for her keeping such a low profile. The former star is now in Australia, where she is paid to promote some fancy social event and the paparazzi probably thought going all that distance was not worth the bother.

Tara's latest job, the Australian one, pays an estimated $300 an hour. To present you with a bigger picture of the new low she reached, that means that Tara makes in an hour as much as former friend Paris Hilton makes in 15 minutes... minus three zeros at the end (yes, people pay Paris $300,000 for a brief appearance)!

But there's some good news from the Tara front, either way: she seems to have finally found a job (a proper one, which actually implies acting and not just showing off some cleavage and a bright smile)! I'm not going to make that joke about this being her 'big break' and all and you will soon see why.

The movie is called 'Honestly' and it is an independent project that will be entirely financed by private individuals. It will be directed by Tara's brother, Tommy Reid and the biggest name that will star in it (although not in the lead) is that of British actor Vinnie Jones ('X-Men: The Last Stand', 'Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels'). 'Honestly' will focus on Tara Reid as a sexy private eye who makes a living out of playing the temptress and testing other women's husbands' (in)fidelity. At one point, instead of entrapping her 'prey', Tara's character falls in love with the man she was investigating, although her common sense is telling her that he can't be as good as it seems.

In fewer words, 'Honestly' sounds a lot like any Joan Collins novel, plus some really bad acting and the cracking of annoying jokes. The whole thing starts shooting this summer in Los Angeles. Oooh, I can hardly wait!
