A video of the aftermath of the Tappan Bridge crash shows the extent of the damage to the vehicles involved.

One woman died and four people were hospitalized after a driver went the wrong way on the New York bridge, prompting a five-car collision.

The vehicle that has been tipped on its roof was being driven by the husband of the victim, 56-year-old Hannah Ayeh-Brachie. She was pronounced dead after the impact.

Debris was thrown around for several feet past the accident spot. Both the lines on the bridge stayed closed for hours, until Thursday morning as investigators inspected the site.

As I mentioned, a witness has described coming face to face with the driver going the wrong away. He claimed that the motorist displayed no intention of stopping.
