Authorities have an audio tape in their possession, documenting a conversation in which Zubeidat Tsarnaev uses the word “jihad” when talking to her son.

The mother of the Boston bombing suspects was discussing the holy war for Islam with her eldest son, Tamerlan in 2011, reports say.

Zubeidat Tsarnaev's 2011 was recorded by Russian authorities, EnStarz informs. The contents of the telephone call have not been made public as of yet.

As I mentioned, Tamerlan was questioned by the FBI that same year after Russian officials expressed their concerns about him, and he was released when no signs of terrorist activity were noted.

Misha, the man allegedly influencing the deceased suspect's radical views on Islam, has since been found and reveals that he, too, has been sought out by FBI agents.
