The comedy “Tammy” starring Melissa McCarthy is about to hit theaters and in anticipation of the event, the second full trailer has just been released. McCarty brings her comedic talents to her very first solo project, after having starred in movies such as “Bridesmaids” and “The Heat.”

The comedy is written and directed by Melissa's husband, Ben Falcone, but there is no denying that she landed the role because of her comedic skills. Just looking at the first scene of the trailer, where her character Tammy robs a fast food store is enough to convince you into watching the entire movie.

McCarthy co-stars with Susan Sarandon who plays the role of Tammy's grandmother, Pearl, with whom she goes on a fugitive streak all the way to Niagara Falls. As you would expect, hilarity and misadventures ensue along the way, and the end result is a comedy that is likely to make a big splash at the box office.

Though she's been accused that she keeps playing the same character over and over in all her movies, the loud, foulmouthed, slightly dum, plump lady, it has to be noted that she at least manages to pull that part off with great ease and conviction, generating laughs from audiences along the way.
