Celebrities are bent on proving us that they are not in the least bit similar to the rest of common folk. Case and point: model Tamara Ecclestone, who, shortly after giving birth, gets her hair and make-up done to pose for the baby's first photo as if she were posing for a glamor shoot.

The photo eventually ended up on her Instagram, where the proud first-time mother gushes over her new bundle of joy, while looking impeccable at the same time, as if the baby were not born but delivered by magical pixies and unicorns who came in floating from the sky on a rainbow.

The caption on the photo reads, “Welcome to the world Sophia, our beautiful baby girl, born yesterday 6lb 9oz. Proudest day of our lives, never felt love like this. X (sic),” as viewers can see young Sophia sleeping carelessly on her mother's bosom.

A rep for Ecclestone later revealed that the photo was taken by the proud father on his camera phone and there was no stylist present at the scene.

While we're happy for the new mother and everything, allow us to doubt the truth of that sentence, and not because we don't have confidence in Rutland's photographic skills or the quality of his phone, but simply because it's virtually impossible for baby and mother to look so fresh and relaxed without some professional help.

Tamara, a model and an entrepreneur, was just last year announcing her relationship and marriage with former City trader, Jay Rutland, so it all seemed a bit unexpected when she appeared to be pregnant. The couple got married last June on the French Riviera, a mere five months after they met, and three months later they announced they were having a baby.

She told the Daily Mail that she believed the child was conceived right after their honeymoon. It managed to even surprise her, “I was shocked that it happened so quickly – not that it happened because it was what we wanted. Like everything about our relationship it’s been very quick, it’s been amazing.”

In an interview with Hello, Tamara, the daughter of the F1 mogul Bernie Ecclestone, reveals that she got the brooding itch after her little sister Petra gave birth to her daughter Lavinia. “It opened my eyes as to how all-consuming motherhood is. Petra gets up with Lavinia in the middle of the night – she's such a great mum.”

Though pregnant, Tamara never hesitated to flaunt her body, even one week before pregnancy posing for revealing, clothes-free photos that exposed her mothering curves in all their splendor.
