Igor Vovkovinskiy, of Rochester, Minnesota, has had a hard time finding shoes to fit him. The tallest man in the US is 7 foot 8 inch, and his shoe size is a whopping 24.

Putting shoes on has been an ordeal in itself for Igor, as he could not find anything to fit him. He went under the knife 16 times during the last six years, to try to correct the problems that didn't allow him to walk properly.

"Every day, I was in pain. I want to be active again and walk. I can barely walk two blocks now. Before, I could walk two miles," he says.

As he contacted Reebok and they agreed to help, he had to drive to their headquarters to undergo several tests, so that the company could create a shoe perfect for him. He had asked for donations previously, and his campaign raised more than $32,000. His shoes would have cost $15,000, but he got them for free.

According to the NY Daily News, he now feels like he is “walking on pillows or mattresses," and plans to take up sports and lose a little weight.
