Tales of Fantasy – Alpha Test Client

The highly anticipated release of the Alpha test client for Tales of Fantasy has finally been launched, so I suggest you download the latest client and explore this new virtual world that IGG has so kindly created for MMORPG fans everywhere.

Although the download has been made available since March 3, the official servers will only start on March 9, so the download window is still open and will give anyone a chance to register and install the client. Also, you might want to begin spreading the word that there's a new online RPG in town that promises to be a great success.

To fully enjoy this online experience, you will need to get an Alpha Test Activation Key by visiting the official site. All you have to do is register an account and send out a referral link to your friends. It's enough for one of them to sign up using your referral so that you can receive your activation key for the Alpha test client. For each new account that has been created, you will receive one credit or two, depending on whether the new account is a simple registration account or an alpha test client account.

This credit system can later be used when the official game client is launched so that you can trade off additional credits by visiting any Item Mall. The purpose behind this system is to get players to earn as many points as they can so that they can unlock various unique items with special abilities that will give them an edge over other members. Also, this is a perfect way for IGG to spread the news about the game and gain a large number of active members in a relatively short period of time. Pretty effective, if I may say so.

The number of credits owned by each registered account will be updated regularly every 30 minutes, so if you don't have the credits once your referral has been used, don't panic because it's probably being updated as you speak. Remember, the more game platinum you earn, the greater the chances you have to find and buy special in-game items.

A note of caution is to be extended as to the online registration process. IGG has placed an IP monitoring system that will prevent the same IP address from registering more than one active account. Fraudulent attempts will thus be discouraged in order to allow only valid accounts. If you really want to join in, get your friends and start playing Tales of Fantasy together.
