OGPlanet has announced that it will be adding the fast-paced racing massively multiplayer online title Tales Runner to its roster of games this spring.

Tales Runner will enter the beta testing phase on March 20, allowing North American players to take part in the racing phenomenon that has already enthralled many other regions of the world.

The game has been created by Rhaon Entertainment, and it combines social, fantasy and racing elements in a unique melange of features. Players can compete in various events by running, jumping, dashing and climbing across different fantasy settings.

The free-to-play MMO is heavily inspired by fairy tales, bringing to the forefront many popular characters from stories such as Jack & the Bean Stalk, Alice in Wonderland and many other timeless classics.

The tracks are entirely based on fairy tale lore, and Tales Runner features both challenging PvE content that allows players to group with their friends, take on various magical enemies and face legendary bosses from well-known tales.

Players can earn experience by participating in various races, allowing characters to be improved by using special equipment and clothing or buffs from NPC and event prizes. Experience can also level up pets, farm animals and crop, which can in turn be traded for various items and cards to craft special gear.

The game also has an intense competitive PvP side, where players can try and best their friends and other opponents in 8-player races or team versus team matches, as well as facing the ultimate multiplayer competition, the Survival Mode race from where only the most skilled will leave with their lives and egos intact.

Apart from the main racing-related content, players of Tales Runner can also experience a host of other in-game content, such as raising pets and training them to become veritable four-legged speed demons, and then challenging your friends to an epic pet race to see who has the fastest critter.

Players can also take a break from the intense racing and relax with some fun casual mini-games such as quiz games, fortune tellers and many more, as well as meeting with their friends in the Park and chatting about their exciting racing experience and victories, share strategy tips and invite others to their farms, where they can raise their pet and grow crops that they can then sell.

Interested players can sign up for the first beta test on Tales Runner's website. The beta will take place from March 20 to April 3.
