14 DAY TRIAL // A brand new trailer for “Taken 2” with Liam Neeson gives away a major detail in the plot, one that was probably deliberately left out in the first teaser released some time ago.
Indeed, Neeson's character will also be taken.
Since the 2008 film, Neeson's former agent turned bodyguard has reconciled with his ex-wife Famke Janssen. They and their daughter Maggie Grace (kidnapped in “Taken”) are now in Istanbul for some quality family time.
It is now that the relatives of all the guys Neeson killed and tortured in the first film act on their promise of revenge, kidnapping both the girl's mother and father.
As such, it will be up to her to save them. If courage and awesomeness run in the blood, she will have no trouble getting them out.
“Taken 2” is out on October 5.
