It might be used to test downloadable content for GTA V

Video game publisher Take Two has plans to open up a new office in Las Vegas, according to new documents filed with the city authorities, and the main reason seems to be almost 600,000 dollars (464,000 Euro) in incentives from the local governments.

The company has not said what the new office will be used for, but plans say that it will employ about 150 people and the median weekly wage cited seems to point to a Quality Assurance center.

It’s not clear why Take Two, which manages brands ranging from Grand Theft Auto to XCOM: Enemy Unknown, needs such a vast new QA center in a well-known city.

The company might be ready to introduce a major new franchise or it might need it to top test all the DLC that Rockstar plans to launch for GTA V, which is taking place in a virtual version of Los Angeles called Los Santos.
