Fresh off the success of her “My Week with Marilyn,” Michelle Williams is returning to a genre that has defined and helped her grow for so many years: indie dramas. “Take This Waltz” seems to be just this kind of film.

Though the pic has been around on the festival circuit since last year, it's just now that it's getting ready to hit theaters all around the world.

A trailer has been released for this purpose and, of course, you can see it in full above.

In the film, Williams plays a woman who is happily married but finds herself unexpectedly attracted to another man – and eventually giving in to temptation.

“Take This Waltz” has gotten plenty of attention from the press for Williams' excellent performance, but also for the superb drama roles by Seth Rogen and Sarah Silverman, who are stepping out of their comfort zone, comedy.

“It's a kind of longing... an idiotic, marvelous, ridiculous longing,” says the tagline. That alone should offer a very strong indication of the film we're about to see.
