Tails 0.17 Absorbs Debian Squeeze 6.0.7 Security Updates

Tails, a live system that aims to preserve your privacy and anonymity and which helps you use the Internet anonymously, is now at version 0.17.

Highlights of Tails 0.17:

• The KeePassX password manager is now installed by default, with complete configuration and documentation;
• Iceweasel browser was updated to version 17.0.3esr-1+tails1~bpo60+1;
• The listing of all available fonts is no longer allowed;
• The default spellchecker dictionary selection has been improved;
• The NoScript click-to-play confirmation has been removed;
• Navigation timing has been removed;
• SPDY has been disabled;
• More aggressive iceweasel HTTP pipelining settings have been implemented;
• WebGL has been enabled;
• Full path information for plugins has been disabled;
• Debian Squeeze 6.0.7 has brought a lot of fixes for Tails.
