Tag Heuer and ModeLabs to Produce a Luxury Mobile Phone?

More companies join in the game for luxury mobile phone manufacturing. An area not so long ago covered only by Vertu, now leaves customers with a wide range of choice between luxury phones produced by Gresso, GoldVish
or Mobiado.

Nokia, LG or Motorola also offer such cell phones, often in partnership with other famous names that generally have nothing to do with the manufacturing of mobile phones, such as LG's partnership with Prada.

A more interesting partnership seems to be close to being formed, between the Swiss watch maker Tag Heuer, a division of the leading luxury goods company LVMH and Modelabs, that has recently released three innovative, solar and kinetic energy powered concept phones as well as a cell phone for Elite Model Look.

The phone that will emerge out of this partnership is expected to be made out of stainless steel and have many similarities to Tag Heuer watches. While lacking any other info, this means that there's no way to really be able to tell what the phone will look like or what features it will bring, so it is generally pointless to go further with any speculations regarding that.

But the truth is that they should come up with a pretty nice phone to be able to enter a market of luxury mobile phones that already includes a pretty wide variety of devices, out of which some have already become popular and widely known, such as the Vertu Phones or Nokia's Sirrocco phones.
