Things have been getting more expensive all around the IT market (well, except RAM, but that's a different problem, although a big one) and TVs are taking their turn, and it's all the fault of football.
Whether or not you like sports, if you're from North America, be ready for a nice big jump in TV prices, especially flat panels.
Apparently, with the football season on, vendors of large-sized flat panel TVs increased the prices by an average of 1.5%-2%.
You'd think this wouldn't mean much, until you realize that the word “average” means some prices went up by a lot more.
Coupled with how large TVs already sell for well over $1,000, this shows that the holidays might not be the best time to buy a new television set.
