Companies from Asia have high hopes from the last month of Q1 2013

March is almost half-way done, which means that the first quarter of 2013 is almost over. One would think that this would make companies look forward to the new term, but this is not exactly the case.

LCD panel makers, if no others, think that there is still enough left of Q1 2013 to make a difference.

Production capacity for LCD TV panels is expected to rise these next two weeks, with panel prices set to improve because of the change.

Even Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) TV panels are set to see better supply, as vendors expect good demand form late April and May, which means they need to stock up right now.

Sure, just over half a million isn't a normally big figure, but UHD is a luxury technology, so it actually isn't too shabby. That is the shipment forecast for 2013 as a whole.
