Like ASUS and others before it, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company has made a rough estimate of how much money it made in July.

The consolidated revenue sum is NT$48.53 billion, converted into $1.62 billion and 1.32 billion Euro, according to exchange rates.

That's 11.7% more than in June and 37% over what was accumulated during the same month of 2011.

That said, for the entire third quarter, TSMC expects to make 6-8% more money than in Q2, although the two quarters afterwards might suffer lower sales.

That 28nm output increased 70% in the second quarter probably helped. Though July is part of the third, the inflow of cash resulting from the advancement persists.

ARM's deal for 64-bit processors will doubtlessly contribute as well.
