TRENDnet has recently released new firmware versions for its TPE-1020WS and TPE-1620WS 10 and 16 port switches. Update number 1.00.11 adds the capability to modify denial of service settings in GUI.

Installing this release is simple and fast. All you need to do is download the archive corresponding to your switch's model name and extract it to an accessible location.

Navigate to the “Tools” section and select “Firmware Upgrade.” Choose to update via HTTP and browse for the recently extracted hex file. Click the “Apply” button and wait for the installation to complete. The switch will restart when the setup finishes.
