TRENDnet has recently released firmware version 1.10 for some of its internet cameras. It refers to the TV-IP672P, TV-IP672P, TV-IP672W, TV-IP672WI, TV-IP572P, TV-IP572PI, TV-IP572W and TV-IP572WI products

This update debuts its release notes by announcing that security vulnerabilities have been fixed.

Other changes include the addition of IPv6 and ONVIF compliance, as well as English, German, Spanish, Russian, and French language support.

The update procedure is simple, but requires that you use a wired connection with the camera. Download the firmware package and extract it to an accessible location.

In a browser address bar, type your camera's IP (default is 192.168.10.30 unless you're using a DHCP server). When asked, use your credentials to log in (the default username and password value is “admin,” but I strongly recommend that you change them as soon as possible).

The camera's setup screen should now be displayed. Go to “Tools” and then “Firmware update.” Next, browse for the bin file you've extracted from the downloaded archive and click “upgrade.” The camera will perform the installation and, when it completes, it restarts.

Download the firmware you need at the link below and stay “updated one minute ago.”
