TRENDnet, like so many other companies, will be present at CES, 2012, but the two products it revealed in its latest press release are going to take more time to actually arrive in stores.

TRENDnet is eager to show off its networking expertise, even if it won't actually let customers enjoy it any time soon.

Though the Dual Band Wireless AC Router and Adapter it made will both be on display, they will only start selling in late 2012.

When they do arrive, though, they will probably make life hard for all the others of their kind.

After all, it is not every day that a company can claim to have made 1,300 Mbps Dual Band Wireless devices.

The 1300 Mbps Dual Band Wireless AC Media Bridge, model TEW-800MB, can link to a maximum of four devices.

That includes network video recorders, Internet TVs, media players, etc.

TRENDnet even implemented Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS), for compatibility with other WPS wireless adapters.

Furthermore, the Beam Forming technology enhances wireless transmissions around physical obstacles, while WMM technology gives higher priority to video and audio packets.

TRENDnet's TEW-811DR 1300 Mbps Dual Band Wireless AC Router projects the same sort of 1,300 Mbps wireless signal.

In addition, it comes with a 450 Mbps wireless n band for “everyday mobile devices and laptops” too.

The hardware maker threw in some Gigabit ports for wired connection as well, plus the same WPS, Beam Forming and WMM support as above.

“New 802.11ac represents a huge jump in wireless performance,” stated Zak Wood, director of global marketing for TRENDnet.

“It will be able to easily handle a large number of wireless connections simultaneously. It will also be able to support extremely high wireless throughput at great distances from the router.”

The TEW-811DR and TEW-800MB will be available in late 2012 with a price of around $200 (157 Euro).
