14 DAY TRIAL // Just hours ago, TNT bosses were forced to issue an official apology for comments made by comedian Tracy Morgan on a recent show about politician and television personality Sarah Palin – but not after it received plenty of comments.
The inappropriate joke was made during a pre-game show, when Morgan was asked who was the better looking of the two, Sarah Palin or Tina Fey.
Much to the dismay of co-host Charles Barkley, Morgan said Palin was the hottest – and then went on to explain in which way he found her more attractive, The Hollywood Reporter says.
To put simply and in terms that won’t offend anyone, he said he appreciated Palin’s good looks especially when he was all by himself.
The other guests on the show desperately tried to change the subject, but Morgan wouldn’t let go, repeating what he’d already said, just in case someone hadn’t heard him the first time.
Following a slew of comments, TNT has issued an apology, saying they never expected Morgan to say those things without proper consideration.
“It’s unfortunate Mr. Morgan showed a lack of judgment on our air with his inappropriate comments. We apologize for any embarrassment or offense it may have caused,” a spokesperson for TNT said for THR.
Sarah Palin has not addressed this in any way – and neither have people from her camp.
In other Palin news, while daughter Bristol Palin is finally moving on from her baby daddy with an Alaska pipeline worker, Sarah is reportedly torn between a career in politics and one in television.
She would undoubtedly get an offer for a second season of her “Alaska” reality show, but doing that would mean choosing to opt out of the upcoming presidential race, a report of a while back said.
The only possible way in which fans may get more of Sarah Palin as a reality show is if a network comes to her with an offer she couldn’t refuse for the second season. It’s all about the money.
