14 DAY TRIAL // TLC is stepping up its game and upping the shock factor. It has just announced a new reality series that deals with an ever-present topic of discussion: cougar women. Below is a preview for “Extreme Cougar Wives.”
As its name implies, this is more than just cougars TLC will focus on. While the label is usually attached to an older woman dating a younger guy, the show will focus on extremes.
“The new TLC special Extreme Cougar Wives aims to shed light on a few of the most wild and wonderful old broads who are getting it on with younger guys,” TLC says.
The series will premiere with a TV special presenting the cases of 3 cougars, as you will also see in the teaser below.
One is Hattie: she is 76 and still very active. In fact, she’s so active that her love life would make Casanova blush, bedding one after another young men looking for affairs with older women.
Another is Stephanie: she is 65 and she’s head over heels with Octavio, who is just 28. People might find her relationship with him “gross,” but she swears love makes you do the strangest things, including this.
The third case in the special is Jude: she is 53 and she’s smitten with a 21-year-old man. The irony is that he first dated her daughter, which is how she came to know him. His parents disapprove of the romance, particularly his mother, who is actually younger than Jude.
“What do you think of these cougars? Is age ain’t nothin’ but a number, or are their extreme love affairs too hot to handle?” TLC asks.
