THQ's core games boss Danny Bilson revealed on his own Twitter account that announcements about hardcore games made for the Kinect and Move will be revealed soon, probably right around the beginning of the Spike TV Video Game Awards, which will start on December 11.

When asked by one of his followers about the possibility to see Kinect, Microsoft's new motion detection peripheral, implemented in THQ's Red Faction franchise, Bilson dodged the question, but revealed that: "We will be announcing one Core Kinect game soon."

Another one of Bilson's followers quickly fired a new question, concerning THQ's efforts for the PlayStation Move, Sony's own motion detection peripheral, which was launched a few months ago.

It seems that THQ is more keen on the Move, as Bilson said that there are two hardcore games coming to the Move, and one of them is a hybrid, combining both Move support with the capacity to use 3D technology.

Sony recently praised 3D, saying that not only does it make gaming more accessible to new players, but that it is the next logical step in the evolution of interactive entertainment, so more and more developers must implement it in their new projects.

THQ is following this trend, so expect the company to add this technology in other new games.

Danny Bilson's company isn't the only one set to make huge announcements at the Video Game Awards, as Activision is also holding its own teaser campaign, probably for Prototype 2, while Sony plans to hold a special conference one day after the VGAs, probably for Uncharted 3.

BioWare has also revealed some mysterious teasers ahead of the launch of the Spike TV awards, while Epic Games' Cliff Bleszinski promises an unexpected reveal of new Gears of War footage, probably with support for the Kinect.

All in all, it seems that no matter what game developer you like, the Video Game Awards are a must-see.
