THQ's SpongeBob SquarePants: Underpants Slam! Coming to XBLM

THQ has recently announced that SpongeBob SquarePants: Underpants Slam! will be one of the first that the company will develop exclusively for Xbox LIVE Arcade, expected to be released in November. SpongeBob SquarePants: Underpants Slam! is based on Nickelodeon's animated series. Its release will also mark the network's debut on the Xbox LIVE Arcade.

According to the official report, THQ also expects to launch Screwjumper in November. Screwjumper is an original title in the company's portfolio of Xbox LIVE Arcade games. These two games will be followed by more original titles. Those are Elements of Destruction and Rocket Riot. As you can imagine, every one of these games will be available for download via Xbox Live Marketplace.

"With more than 20 million units of SpongeBob video games shipped worldwide to-date, we're so excited to bring casual gamers SpongeBob SquarePants: Underpants Slam! on the Xbox LIVE Arcade for Xbox 360, and we look forward to rolling out more titles with a slate of games that offer a variety of options via the popular Arcade network."

No pricing has been confirmed for the games but we're guessing they're not going to be very expensive. THQ is known for releasing titles in the low pricing category, but this doesn't mean that the company deals with bad titles. Plenty of them are actually quite fun.
