Good news, people! TEPCO has finally come up with a solution to the ongoing crisis at the Fukushima nuclear plant.

Sure, it's solution boils down to releasing contaminated water into the nearby ocean but, hey, at least they're doing something.

Bloomberg says that this discharge of toxic material would be a controlled one. And we all know how gifted TEPCO is at keeping things under control. So no reason to worry.

What's more, Japan's Nuclear Regulation Authority (NRA) reassures that, before being discharged, the water will be treated in order to bring its toxicity well within legal limits.

Presently, TEPCO and the NRA have not decided whether or not such extreme measures will be implemented. Still, something tells me they'll go ahead with this little project.

More so given the fact that, in a statement issued this September 2, Shunichi Tanaka, the current chairman of the NRA, said that, “It is important for us to understand the need to make difficult judgments in order to avoid larger problems in the future.”

Stay tuned for more information.
