Partnership sets new bar for mobile entertainment in Canadian market

TELUS Corporation and Amp'd Mobile announced an exclusive relationship for the sale and distribution of Amp'd branded services in Canada. As a result, Amp'd Mobile's mobile entertainment, information and messaging services will be offered in Canada operating on TELUS' Wireless High Speed network in early 2007.

Capitalizing on TELUS' wireless high speed (EVDO) service, the Amp'd Mobile partnership will allow Canadian subscribers to easily access personalized wireless content on their mobile handsets. Through Amp'd Mobile's proprietary Amp'd Live environment, users will have access to music, 3D mobile gaming, live sports and concert video streaming, mobile communities, personalization features, as well as traditional mobile phone functionality.

Under the terms of the Licensing and Services Agreement, Amp'd Mobile will be responsible for bringing exclusive entertainment to Canadian subscribers as well as providing optimized handsets capable of fast download speeds. TELUS will manage sales and distribution, billing, client care, network operations and pricing.
