Other updates have been delayed as well, while others will arrive a bit sooner

Canadian carrier TELUS updated its operating system upgrade schedule once again, but the new release dates are still subject to change.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note was initially expected to receive an Ice Cream Sandwich update in early July, it appears that there has been a slight delay in the submission for the smartphone by Samsung.

Even though the Android 4.0 ICS update will still arrive for Galaxy Note this month, TELUS confirmed it is now expected to be released in late July.

Obviously, this is bad news for Samsung Galaxy Note owners, but at least the carrier is offering a pretty decent new release timeframe for the Android 4.0 ICS update.

Unfortunately, Samsung has more troubles than we thought as TELUS revealed that the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 8.9 are now expected to receive Ice Cream Sandwich in August, though both were slated for a late July update.

LG Optimus LTE is also upgradable to Ice Cream Sandwich, but owners of this smartphone will receive the update only on August 7, though it was originally expected to arrive in late July.

The good news is that the HTC Desire HD will get the Android 4.0 ICS update a several days earlier than expected.

Initially expected to receive the upgrade on July 26, Desire HD owners will be happy to learn that TELUS is now offering a July 17 release date for the Ice Cream Sandwich update.

Nokia Lumia 800 will also receive an MRC3/Bug fix update on July 11, two days earlier than expected, while the BlackBerry Bold 9790 should get the long-awaited OS 7.1 on the same date, July 11.

However, given the fact that TELUS specifically mentioned that these dates are subject to change, we can expect the carrier to continue to refresh the upgrade schedule.
