Canadian network operator TELUS is one of the many carriers that will add HTC’s next flagship smartphone to its portfolio. Regardless of its name, the All New HTC One will be available for pre-order at TELUS beginning later this month.

MobileSyrup reports that customers will be able to pre-purchase the high-end smartphone for around $230 (€150) on two-year agreements. No word on the All New HTC One’s outright price, but we suspect that it will go on sale for $650 (€420) - $700 (€455) upfront.

The top of the line HTC smartphone has been confirmed for reveal on March 25. The press event will take place in NYC and it is likely to be entirely dedicated to the All New HTC One.

There have been many rumors regarding the actual name that the device will be released on the market with, but we still don’t have any confirmation on how HTC will name it.

HTC M8 will remain the phone’s codename, but there have been a few market names that have been circulating online in the last couple of months. The device was first known as HTC One+ (Plus), then the All New HTC One and there are even rumors that it will hit shelves as HTC One Up.

However, info on its hardware and software configuration seems to be more reliable than the rumors regarding its market name. The All New HTC One has been confirmed to pack a dual camera with two tone LED flash.

This will greatly improve the chance of capturing a high-quality photo in darker environments. More details on the dual camera will certainly be offered at the phone’s launch event less than two weeks from now.

On the inside, the smartphone is expected to be armed with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 801 chipset that accommodates a quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz, alongside an Adreno 330 graphics processing unit.

According to the latest benchmarks leaked online earlier this month, the All New HTC One will pack 2GB of RAM and either 32GB or 64GB of internal memory.

It’s also been confirmed that this model will finally include microSD card slot for memory expansion, unlike the current HTC One that lacks this feature. We also expect the smartphone to sport a 5-inch full HD capacitive touchscreen display.

The All New HTC One will be powered by the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system out of the box, along with HTC Sense 6.0 UI.
