Canadian wireless carrier TELUS is running a special online promotion through which it offers four devices for free upon the signing of a one-year contract agreement on its airwaves.

The carrier has made a similar move only a few weeks ago, and it seems that it has exactly the same devices included in the promotion this time as well.

These mobile phones would include the Android-based Motorola Milestone, Charm and Backflip, along with the Symbian-based Nokia E72.

The promotion would offer users the possibility to acquire one of the said devices with the inking of a contract with the carrier, on a Voice and Data rate plan of $50 or higher, the company notes on the special page it put in place for the promotion (via mobilesyrup).

“Available online only until March 10, for clients who activate on a new 1, 2 and 3 year term with a Voice and Data rate plan of $50 or greater. TELUS reserves the right to modify eligible rate plans with this offer at any time without advance notice,” the operator says.

The Motorola Milestone was launched as the first high-end Android-based smartphone from the company, offering both a large touchscreen and a sliding QWERTY keyboard, as well as support for a wide range of services.

Motorola Backflip comes with a unique reverse-hinged design, a BACKTRACK navigation panel on the back, 5MP camera, and Motorola's own MOTOBLUR user interface loaded on top of Google's Android operating system.

The Motorola Charm was brought to shelves with a QWERTY keyboard and a touchscreen display in a candybar form factor. An affordable device, it offers fast access to services like Gmail, Google Talk, Google Maps, YouTube, or to social networking sites, including Facebook and Twitter.

As for Nokia E72, the only non-Android device in TELUS' promotion, it offers support for business-grade services and applications, 3G connectivity, microSD memory card slot, a 5MP camera, and more.

Those who would like to take advantage of the promotion available via TELUS' online store should hurry to the carrier's website here.
