14 DAY TRIAL // Canadian mobile phone carrier TELUS is the latest operator in the country to have cut the price tag for the newly launched BlackBerry Z10 smartphone.
The phone was put up for sale yesterday at $149 at the wireless carrier, but can be purchased today at only $139 (around €103), the same as it has been at Rogers since launch.
Users interested in the purchase of this smartphone at the reduced cost will have to commit to a three-year contract agreement with the wireless carrier.
Both the Black and the White flavors of the device can be found at TELUS, listed on this page on the operator’s website.
Packing a 4.2-inch 1280 x 768 pixel touchscreen display, the BlackBerry Z10 is powered by a Qualcomm 8960 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, paired with 2GB of RAM.
Furthermore, the smartphone features an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with full HD video recording capabilities, as well as a 2MP camera on the front, great for making video calls.
The handset sports 16GB of internal memory, along with a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space. It also sports a 1,800 mAh Lithium-Ion battery inside.
At TELUS, the new BlackBerry Z10 arrived with support for the operator’s 4G LTE network, thus capable of providing users with high data speeds while on the go.
Additionally, it can deliver a nice range of appealing features powered by the new BlackBerry 10 operating system, such as a new Keyboard, BlackBerry Hub, BBM with Voice and Video calling and BlackBerry Balance.
