14 DAY TRIAL // “Grey’s Anatomy” star T.R. Knight was involved in a 3-car accident this Thursday on Hollywood Boulevard, it has emerged. As of now, no citations have been issued in the case and, from what pictures at the scene show, Knight himself was not injured. A man and a woman were, though, and they required to be transported to the hospital to receive medical care.
Celebrity gossip website and paparazzi agency TMZ already has some photos taken at the scene of the accident. As noted above, Knight seems unhurt in all of them, but the woman lying on the ground does not look in that great shape, other media outlets are pointing out. What exactly caused the crash has not yet been determined, however, according to the same media outlet, the police are now investigating the case and, undoubtedly, more details on the story will emerge in the next few days.
“We’re told T.R. was going eastbound on Hollywood Blvd – the other car was going westbound when they collided. He was not injured, but a man and a woman were taken to the hospital by ambulance. Cops are still investigating who was at fault.” TMZ informs. Neither Knight nor his publicist has yet made any statement regarding the accident, or whether he was injured in any way.
At the beginning of February, T.R. Knight, who stars in the hit show “Grey’s Anatomy,” was rumored to be on the verge of leaving the production at about the same time as his real-life friend Katherine Heigl. Back then, it was said that Knight had been extremely vocal about wanting out of his contract, in order to be able to pursue other projects, but also to break free from the other cast members, with whom he was reportedly not on the best terms.
“He’s going too. He just wanted to pursue other career paths.” a source told Us Magazine at the time. The same spy also claimed that Knight’s decision to call it a day with the show couldn’t have come at a better timing, since almost no one on set could stand to be in his presence anymore. “He complains to Katherine all the time. The energy on set will be much better when he’s gone.” the same spy added.
