Soon, wireless carrier T-Mobile might bring to its lineup a new Windows Phone handset for its customers, in the form of Lumia 1525, the latest reports on the matter suggest.

No official confirmation has been provided as of now, but infamous tipster evleaks claims that the Lumia 1525 is indeed coming, and that T-Mobile will launch it.

The name emerged online at the beginning of this year but has never been formally introduced as of now.

Back then, Lumia 1525 was said to be an upgraded variant of the Lumia 1520, featuring a 6-inch full HD touchscreen display, along with a microSD memory card slot, and possibly a faster processor inside.

The upcoming device should also run under Windows Phone 8.1 right out of the box, yet no specific info on when it might arrive on the market has been provided yet.

Unfortunately, details on what said Lumia 1525 might bring new to the table are missing as well, and it remains to be seen whether it will come only with better hardware or it will also sport a series of design changes (the same as it happened with Lumia 920 and Lumia 925).

The first Windows Phone 8.1 smartphones are starting to land on shelves only now, but more of them are expected to arrive before the end of this year, including some coming from Microsoft itself, so stay tuned for further info on this.
