Wireless carrier T-Mobile should make available for purchase on its airwaves in the near future its first 4G-enabled Android tablet PC, the Dell Streak 7, most probably on February 2nd, as previously rumored. The upcoming Android-based device was already announced officially in early January during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, but no specific info on when it would be released at the carrier emerged.

No info on the price tag that thus tablet PC might sport at T-Mobile was unveiled either, though the carrier notes on its website that the device is “fun, fast, and amazingly priced.”

The Dell Streak 7 comes with support for the carrier's HSPA+ 4G network, as well as with a powerful processor inside, namely an Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core T20 processor running at 1GHz, which means that it would indeed be quite fast.

However, it remains to be seen what T-Mobile means by “amazingly priced,” since no exact details on this are available.

In case there are some who did not meet the device before, here's what the wireless carrier notes on its website:

7” multi-touch screen Watch your favorite shows on-the-go with T-Mobile TV Thousands of family friendly apps like BrainPOP, Zinio, Kindle for Android and Blockbuster Talk Live with T-Mobile Video chat powered by Qik with front and rear-facing cameras Full Flash support for a rich Web experience

The mobile services provider also notes that the Dell Streak 7 would easily prove a fun device for all type of users.

The company would have the tablet PC launched on its airwaves with various content pre-loaded, including apps, access to services, and the like.

Those who are interested in learning more on the new Android device should head over to the carrier's website here. T-Mobile also offers them the possibility to register their interest on Dell Streak 7 on the aforementioned page, so that they would be informed on the availability of this device.
