Among the upcoming mobile phones that might hit the United States in the not-too-distant future, we can count a new handset model from Samsung, which should land on shelves at T-Mobile with the 4G moniker attached to its name, some of the latest reports on the matter suggest.

The 4G part would mean that the new smartphone should go along nicely with the wireless carrier's HSPA+ network, which can offer enhanced connectivity speeds.

Sporting model number SGH-T759, the new smartphone is expected to be released as the Exhibit 4G, though no confirmation on this has emerged until now.

There are not too many details available on the new device for the time being, but, from what is known on it, we can count the fact that it might be released with the Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform loaded on it, something confirmed via the leaked photos with it.

The upcoming mobile phone is also expected to arrive on shelves with a 3.7-inch touchscreen AMOLED display that can deliver a 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

Moreover, it would sport a 1.4GHz ARM11 application processor inside, along with a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with 720p video recording capabilities, and with a VGA front facing camera for video calling.

The guys over at TmoNews note that, while the front-facing camera can be seen in the available photos with the phone, the rest of the specs are only in the rumor side for now.

However, more on the new handset might emerge soon, and we'll be able to learn at that time whether this would be a 14.4 or 21 HSPA+ device landing on T-Mobile's network.

Samsung has already brought to the market in the United States a series of Android-based devices that sport appealing specs, but there's always room for another one, that's for sure, especially since it comes with an accessible price tag.

Until more on this device emerges, have a look at the available photos with it. The entire gallery is available at TmoNews here.
