Wireless carrier T-Mobile is expected to add to its lineup in the not too distant future a certain Samsung SGH-T889 smartphone that hasn’t been yet unveiled to the world.

However, some of the latest reports on the web suggest that this device might be the Galaxy Note II smartphone that Samsung made official last week at the IFA 2012 event in Berlin.

The SGH-T889 smartphone has been spotted in a user agent profile that unveiled a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, similar to the one on Galaxy Note II.

With Galaxy Note launched at T-Mobile as model number T879, it would make sense for T889 to be its successor, also featuring support for the carrier’s 4G HSPA+ network.

Reportedly, the smartphone will arrive on shelves right from the start with the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean platform on board, yet another reason for Magenta’s customers to rejoice.
