The smartphone will arrive with support for both LTE and HSPA+

Wireless carrier T-Mobile has been rumored for a while now to plan the launch of Xperia Z – Sony Mobile’s latest flagship Android device – on its network, and it seems that it is indeed getting closer to that.

The smartphone has just received the necessary approvals from the FCC, with support for the wireless carrier’s 4G LTE network, and might be released soon, although no official announcement on the matter has been made as of now.

According to Engadget, T-Mobile’s Xperia Z model comes to the market with Wi-Fi calling packed inside, while offering support not only for AWS LTE (band 4), but also for pentaband HSPA+.

T-Mobile has yet to provide any specific details on the availability of the smartphone, yet it might not be too long before that happens, so stay tuned to learn more on the matter.
