Nokia’s Lumia 710 is the first Windows Phone device from the company to arrive on shelves in the United States. A video ad for it has just been posted online, and can be seen embedded above.

The smartphone is now available for purchase in the country on the airwaves of T-Mobile, featuring a price tag of $49 with the signing of a two-year contract agreement.

Although affordable, the handset does have a great deal of capabilities, including a 3.7-inch screen, a 1.4GHz application processor, and 8BG of internal memory. There is also a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with video recording capabilities.

However, some of the most appealing features that the new device can deliver are software related. Windows Phone features support for Bing, social networking, Xbox LIVE and Office tools, all these complemented by apps exclusive to Nokia’s phones, such as Nokia Drive, Nokia Music.
