A new software update is currently rolling out to Nokia Lumia 635 devices on the network of wireless carrier T-Mobile in the United States, aimed at providing users with a better experience than before.

The new firmware release is delivered as an over-the-air update, and it should be already arriving on devices as version 01061.00074.14271.30100, T-Mobile’s support website reveals.

“Beginning July 18, 2014, the Nokia Lumia 635 received a software update to 01061.00074.14271.30100. This update provides features and improvements,” the wireless carrier notes.

However, the only improvement mentioned in the release notes is related to the user experience, with no specific details on what has been changed provided as of now.

As soon as the update is available for their devices, users will receive a notification on the matter, and they will be able to automatically download the new firmware.

However, they can also manually check on the availability of this new firmware refresh through heading to Settings > Phone Update.

Before proceeding, however, they should make sure that the battery inside their devices has been charged at least at 50 percent and that at least 103MB of memory is free in order to download the new firmware. A data or Wi-Fi connection is also required.
