Next week, South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics is expected to make official a new flagship Android-based smartphone, in the form of LG G3, and it seems that wireless carrier T-Mobile will be adding it to its offering.

LG has already confirmed the upcoming device and has even detailed most of this phone's features and capabilities during a private event in South Korea a few days ago, but specific details on availability haven’t been provided as of now.

However, it appears that T-Mobile is planning on adding the device to its offering starting next month, and that photos with the smartphone have also leaked online and are now available for your viewing pleasure, courtesy of TmoNews.

The news site also notes that T-Mobile is currently testing the smartphone and that it has wrapped it in a bland exterior case, so as to disguise it in public, as can be seen in the photo above. Below, you will find some more screenshots and photos with the phone, available via evleaks.

The smartphone will arrive at this wireless carrier with model number D851 attached to it, the one that made an appearance at the FCC only several days ago.

Apparently, the wireless carrier will release it with Wi-Fi calling capabilities out of the box. A “connect to Wi-Fi to make calls” notification can be seen on the status bar above the lock screen, which should be taken as a confirmation on the matter.

For those out of the loop, we should note that LG G3 has been already confirmed to arrive on the market with a 5.5-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a Quad HD resolution.

Moreover, the smartphone features a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, along with 3GB of RAM for great performance capabilities at all times.

Rumor has it that LG will launch the handset in 16GB and 32GB versions, though only the latter has been confirmed as of now. However, both models will arrive on the market with a microSD memory card slot.

On the back, the LG G3 will sport a 13-megapixel camera with Optical Image Stabilization, supposedly capable of recording videos in 4K resolution, complemented by a 2MP front camera for making video calls.

Running under the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, the smartphone is also expected to land on shelves with all the usual connectivity capabilities inside, while being powered by a 3000mAh battery.

What remains to be seen at the moment is when exactly the smartphone will arrive on the market and what price tag it will feature when that happens, so stay tuned for more on this.
