Wireless carrier T-Mobile has been long rumored to be on its way to launch two new mobile phones on the US market as soon as March 24, and it seems that the move has been already confirmed. The two devices in question are the Nokia 5230 Nuron, which was officially unveiled only a couple of weeks ago, and the HTC HD2, which was officially announced as headed for T-Mobile at the beginning of the ongoing year.

Some of the previous rumors on these two phones already suggested that they might become available for purchase via T-Mobile before the end of the month, and now it seems that their release date was confirmed for March 24. Both phones will bring a nice range of features to T-Mobile's customers, yet each of them is targeted at a different market segment, with a different price tag too.

Starting with the high-end HTC HD2, the device was already rumored to become available for purchase from T-Mobile for $199 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement with the carrier. With the price tag and release date already confirmed, it only remains to be seen whether T-Mobile announces the move officially today, and how the Windows Mobile 6.5-based handset performs on the market, as it is being released only a few months before the first Windows Phone 7 Series devices lands.

As for the Nokia Nuron, the handset is said to have been originally slated for a March 17 launch, but that T-Mobile has pushed it back a little. The handset should become available for purchase for $69.99 on a two-year contract agreement, but it seems that users will also be able to get it for $179.99 without a contract. According to TmoNews, those willing to purchase the handset on contract will only have to opt for a $10 per month data plan, something that does not sound too bad in the end.
