Orange and T-mobile UK announced a while ago that they plan on enabling their users to roam freely between their networks, and October has brought this capability to the subscribers of the two netwotks in the UK.

The move is part of the carriers' plans to put their businesses together in the newly formed company called Everything Everywhere.

Starting with October 5th, both Orange UK and T-Mobile UK mobile subscribers are offered the possibility to sign up to receive access to the other carrier's network, so as to enjoy expanded coverage in the country.

Both wireless carriers announced the availability of the new option on their website, inviting users to sign up for being allowed to access both shared networks.

Here's what T-Mobile notes on its website: Now you can sign up to pick up a signal from Orange when you don't have a T-Mobile signal, so you can call and text in even more places.

You can use the Orange signal if you don't have a T-Mobile signal You can talk and text in more places than before and your charges will stay the same

As for Orange's users, they can read the following on the carrier's website: Now you can pick up a signal from both the Orange and T-Mobile networks in the UK which means that you can call and text in even more places.

Your phone will use T-Mobile signal if it doesn't pick up an Orange signal Your charges stay the same when you use T-Mobile signal

Both companies note the following: “Nothing else will change, you'll just get more network coverage.”

Additional info on what the new option that Orange and T-mobile UK made available for their users is all about can be found in the video embedded below.

Everything Everywhere, the carrier formed through the merger of Orange and T-Mobile, is currently the largest wireless services provider in the UK.

Although the two companies became one a few months ago, they will continue to operate under their already popular brands.
