Mobile phone carrier T-Mobile USA has just unveiled plans to bring to its airwaves in the near future a new, highly appealing mobile phone, the HTC Sensation 4G, which should become available for purchase with support for the carrier's HSPA+ network.

The handset, launched today in other markets around the world as well, without the 4G connectivity though, packs a dual-core 1.2GHz application processor inside, and should hit shelves at T-Mobile in the coming months.

The mobile phone sports a 4.3-inch touchscreen display that boast a qHD (540x960 pixels) resolution, and can offer a great multimedia experience to all users, especially when complemented by the fast download speeds it can deliver on T-Mobile's network.

HTC Sensation 4G comes with a wide range of technology advancements, including a premium design, as well as a new HTC Sense user interface, which was meant to further enhance the experience users receive from it.

The new HTC Sense experience includes:

- A customizable active lockscreen experience that transforms the lockscreen into a real-time window to the most important information and content. Social updates, photos, weather or stock updates can be viewed by simply waking up the display. - Sharper graphics, vibrant animations and new widgets make HTC Sense look better than ever. - A more cinematic and immersive weather experience with stunning imagery and audible weather effects.

The specification list of the new HTC Sensation 4G also includes an 8-megapixel photo snapper with full HD video recording in 1080p resolution, as well as a new Video Trimmer tool for easy sharing of clips to social networking sites.

But this is not all, the new device comes with a microSD memory card slot for expanding the available storage space, as well as with support for WiFi networks, with built-in GPS receiver, and more.

“Tapping into HTC’s trademark design, the HTC Sensation 4G’s premium look and feel is enhanced by its rounded edges, aluminum unibody construction and the touch screen surface protected by a contoured screen that feels more natural as a finger is glided across it,” T-Mobile notes.

The wireless carrier did not unveil a specific release date for the new HTC Sensation 4G on its airwaves, nor on the price tag it might feature when available.
