Mobile phone operator T-Mobile is reportedly getting ready to kill off the myFaves calling plans due to the introduction of the new Even More plans, included in the so-called Project Dark. The myFaves calling plans, as many of you might already be aware of, offers users the possibility to include on their mobile phone's home screen a number of up to five photos or icons, which were meant to illustrate the five most favorite people in one's contacts list.

Moreover, the myFaves calling plans from T-Mobile also provided users with unlimited nationwide any-network calling when it came to the said five people, no matter whether they were in another network or on a landline. A spokesperson with the wireless carrier already confirmed that the newly unveiled Even More are to replace the older myFaves offering.

“Our new Even More plans, which feature options for unlimited calling, text and data service, have taken the place of our myFaves unlimited calling feature. We continue to offer the myFaves home screen, at no additional charge, across our broad portfolio of phones as a way for customers to easily connect with their Fave Five through voice, text and email. And customers currently subscribing to the myFaves unlimited calling feature can choose to continue to benefit from that plan,” the T-Mobile official stated.

According to cellphonehits, a monthly fee will remain in place, and it will start at $39.99 per month for individuals, while families will have to pay $69.99 per month. Users will also have the possibility to change the five favorite contacts once per calendar month, though it seems that not all handsets will offer support for the service. The news site notes that this might be so due to the myFaves user interface that should come to the phones, also mentioning the fact that, by the end of the year, T-Mobile will launch a much smaller number of handsets that will sport myFaves compatibility.
