T-Mobile USA has just announced a powerful 7-inch SpringBoard tablet manufacturer with Honeycomb and 4G capabilities. Although the device is manufactured by Huawei, T-Mobile USA decided to retail it under its own brand

With SpringBoard, T-Mobile USA expands its tablet portfolio to provide customers a range of 7-, 9- and 10.1-inch products fully compatible with its HSPA+ network.

[admark=1] According to the carrier, the 4G-enabled SpringBoard is one of the most affordable tablets offered by the carrier.

However, T-Mobile has yet to announce the slate's price options and release date. The only details offered by the carrier state that T-Mobile SpringBoard will arrive in stores in time for the holidays.

The tablet comes with a brilliant 7-inch HD capacitive multi-touchscreen display with 16 million colors.

The T-Mobile SpringBoard with Google is the perfect evolution of T-Mobile’s tablet portfolio, providing consumers with the right choice of tablet to easily look up a recipe at the grocery store, update social media sites on the bus or stream movies and music in the back seat of the car,” said Jeremy Korst, vice president of mobile broadband and emerging devices, T-Mobile USA.

Given its small size the ultra-portable tablet can fit comfortably into a pocket, briefcase or purse, which makes it easier to carry than a 10.1-incher.

T-Mobile SpringBoard by Huawei is equipped with a 1.2 GHz dual-core mobile processor, but the carrier has yet to reveal the model and maker.

In addition, the tablet sports a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back with HD 720p video recording capabilities, along with a 1.3- megapixel front facing camera for video calls.

While there's no mention of the storage amount, T-Mobile USA states that the tablet comes with microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Software-wise, T-Mobile SpringBoard runs Honeycomb 3.2 operating system and offers a range of pre-loaded entertainment apps, including Blio eReader, MobileLife Family organizer, Slacker Radio and TeleNav GPS Navigator.
