UK-based carrier T-Mobile has just added the HTC Sensation XE high-end smartphone and the budget-friendly HTC Explorer to its portfolio of Android devices.

Both smartphone are now available for free on select plans. Customers who want to grab the HTC Sensation XE are required to commit to a 24-month plan that starts at £35.75 (56 USD or 41 EUR) per month, which will net them 900 minutes, 500 texts and 500MB of mobile data.

On the cheaper side, the HTC Explorer is also free with a new 24-month plan starting at £10.21 (16 USD or 12 EUR) per month, which offers subscribers 100 texts and 100 minutes. It is also worth mentioning that the Explorer can also be purchased on PAYG (pay as you go) for £139.99 (220 USD or 163 EUR) outright.

T-Mobile UK offers its customers willing to sign up for a new two-year plan two different options, one that will bring them top-notch multimedia features and another one that will get them all Android features at a convenient price.

The Sensation XE is one of HTC’s top tier Android smartphones and offers the ultimate multimedia experience via Beats Audio hardware and Beats headset.

The smartphone is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform and runs HTC Sense user interface on top. HTC confirmed last month that the device will be among the first to receive the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade next year.

On the inside, the HTC Sensation XE is equipped with a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 768MB of RAM, 4GB storage (1 GB user available) and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

HTC Explorer is a budget-friendly Gingerbread smartphone that comes with a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen with support for 320 x 480 pixels resolution. The device is equipped with a low-power 600 MHz CPU and packs 512 MB of ROM and 512 MB of RAM.
