Starting today, wireless carrier T-Mobile will have a new smartphone available for purchase on its airwaves, the T-Mobile myTouch 4G, which will go hand in hand with the company's HSPA+ network, as well as with the 4G speeds it can offer to the company's customers.

In addition to making the handset available for purchase, the wireless carrier also announced plans to start airing a new advertising campaign for its network, dubbed “America’s Largest 4G Network”.

Moreover, it appears that there is no better way of showing the benefits of having an Android-based device connected to T-Mobile's network than comparing it with the performance of the iPhone 4 on AT&T's network.

The video below will show you all there is to show on the matter, including T-Mobile's belief that its 4G network can offer impressively better performance levels than when on a competitive network.

The video is based on the same idea that the old “I’m a Mac/iPhone” commercials included, though the main characters are different now.

“The “America’s Largest 4G Network” message will be communicated in an iconic, arresting and memorable way,” the wireless carrier announced.

The campaign will be aired “through national TV and digital advertisements that will begin airing today on major TV networks and cable TV stations, including ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC and TNT.”

At the same time, the commercials will be published on various websites, including AOL, MSN, Amazon.com, as well as on the carrier's YouTube channel.

T-Mobile's customers will also be able to enjoy the enhanced download speeds on the carrier's HSPA+ network on a series of other devices too, including the recently unveiled T-Mobile G2.

Take a look at the video below to see how T-Mobile touts the capabilities of its HSPA+ when compared to those that AT&T's network, which is said here to heavily rely on the carrier's Wi-Fi airwaves, can offer.
