The carrier appears to have falsely advertised the plan

Remember that T-Mobile announced not so long ago that it was going to offer 200MB of “free” data a month to any tablet, as part of its “uncarrier” program?

Well, it turns out that “free” translates into paying a few extra bucks. To take advantage of the offer, interested customers had to either purchase a new tablet with the carrier or bring in T-Mobile compatible one.

But a quick check on the carrier’s official website, showcased that those purchasing a new tablet online were required to sign up for an “On Demand” plan in order to keep the SIM card active for a fee of $10 / €7.

However, if your vision is sharp enough, you can spot a small print saying that customers can get a $10 / €7 discount each month if they own a voice plan. But that wasn’t what T-Mobile advertised from the start. Instead, the magenta carrier said that any customer with a tablet, new or old, would be awarded 200MB of data per month.
