The T-Mobile Sidekick Slide will be available from now on in the operator's stores across the US after a long period of waiting. The device will expand to other countries as well in the near future.

T-Mobile Sidekick Slide is the most compact
mobile phone to work on Danger's software and services. It is 25 percent smaller than the previous generations of T-Mobile's Sidekick family, which follows the trend of having slimmer and more compact handsets. The phone looks to respond to the user's communication needs at several levels. It also packs full HTML web browsing and instant messaging, which look great on the large display screen.

The Sidekick Slide also looks like the best solution for sending emails. Its full QWERTY keypad and sliding screen make it easy to type long texts and even handle personal blogs. Above all this, the handset aims especially at entertainment, through the great internet experience that it offers and the design which makes it perfect for playing games and listening to music.

Each application runs concurrently to enable true multitasking. For example, a user can chat with up to 25 friends in instant messaging and surf the Web simultaneously. That sounds very much like what a regular PC would have to offer in these terms. Moreover, it also brings an elegant end user experience. With one click, the user can select and dial phone numbers from Web pages or any text field and mailing addresses from the contact list can be instantly mapped on the Web just as easily.

The Sidekick Slide is now available on T-Mobile's website and at their retail stores for USD 200 with a two-year contract. The price is low enough for the targeted young audience to afford it and make it one of the most popular mobile phones to own in no time. The handset will also head towards Germany and the United Kingdom this year, under the T-Mobile Sidekick Slide brand and in Australia branded as the hiptop Slide from Telstra.
