Wireless services provider T-Mobile has officially announced the availability of the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system for two devices, namely the LG Optimus L9 and Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G.
The rollout of both updates has started on Monday, April 22. Users will receive access to the platform upgrade over-the-air, T-Mobile announced on its support website, as TmoNews reports.
“Beginning April 22, the LG Optimus L9 will have a software update to Android version 4.1.2 / Software P76920d via Over The Air (OTA). This update changes the OS to Jelly Bean,” the company notes.
On Galaxy S Relay 4G, the update will arrive with baseband version T699UVBMC5, and will be available over-the-air and through Samsung Kies, T-Mobile explains.
Users should head over to Settings > About Phone > System updates to check on the availability of Jelly Bean for their handsets.
