It seems that T-Mobile plans to release a number of BlackBerry Curve 8900 handsets to its business customers starting January 19th. These devices will be available for purchase a few weeks before the official February 11th launch date slated for the phone.

The early launch of the BlackBerry Curve 8900 for business customers was announced by means of an internal document released a few days ago. If you are an employee of a company that has a business account with the carrier you will be able to enjoy the features of the device earlier, while other users will still have to wait until February, when the handset comes nationally to all other channels.

In related news, we learn that some pricing details have already been unveiled on the BlackBerry Curve 8900 for T-Mobile. According to the reports, corporate customers of the operator will be able to purchase the handset for a $499.99 MSRP without a contract, and for only $199.99 with a 2-year agreement. At the same time, the phone would cost only $249.99 with a 1-yr contract.

From what we've heard, the phone should feature the same price tags for non-corporate users as well, only for the one-year renewal option. The “smallest, slimmest, and lightest full-QWERTY blackberry available,” as the carrier describes it, is finally coming to users, and that is great news.

Just to remind you a little what this handset is able to do, we'll say that it comes with a 3.2-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, Stereo Bluetooth, Music player, Video capture capabilities, built-in GPS, micro SD memory card slot and USB connectivity. The BlackBerry Curve 8900 features support for 850 MHz/900 MHz/1800 MHz/1900 MHz band frequencies, a 1400 mAhr Li-Ion battery, it measures 2.4 x 4.3 x 0.5 inches and weighs 3.9 ounces.
